Previously known as Dr Andrew Lockhart’s Dental Surgery, we rebranded to Mount Waverley Family Smiles in 2018. Mount Waverley Family Smiles has now been operating for over 25 years in the same location and servicing the surrounding community.
Although we are located on the cusp of Mount Waverley and Chadstone, we regularly treat patients from Ashwood, Box Hill, Burwood, Clayton, Glen Waverley, Oakleigh, Vermont and Wheelers Hill. We also have a loyal band of patients who commute across town to see us. We feel that speaks volumes about the quality of our care!
Located just 300 metres from the Monash Freeway, we have ample onsite parking and flexible appointment times – from morning to evening and weekend appointments.
We are located on Huntingdale Rd and just a short walk from Jordanville train station.

Dr Omaira Noor
Dr Omaira believes in inspiring people to improve their lives. She is driven by her purpose of helping people to relieve their pain as well as providing excellent oral health care.
She has a gentle, caring approach and is very much at ease looking after nervous and anxious patients.
Dr Omaira is an experienced dentist working in Melbourne, Victoria for over 12 years, performing all aspect of general dentistry including Complex restorations, Crowns , Bridges and Veneers, Root Canal Treatment, Denture Work, Treatment of Periodontal Disease, Tooth Whitening, Extractions including Surgical Extractions with particular interest in Aesthetic Dentistry.
Omaira attained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh) in 2003. Since graduating she has continued studying, including having extensive clinical training at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne through Melbourne University. She completed the Australian Dental Council Examinations in 2006. She regularly attends continuing education to ensure she is providing the most up to date treatments.
She is a member of Australian Dental Association where she mentors young dentists.
